October, 1969‑September, 1974: taught Modern Middle Eastern History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

WORKSHOPS AND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES ORGANIZED

1997to 2009, convened regular, annual Middle East Gender Workshops under the auspices of the Truman Institute for Peace Research, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
January, 2001, convened a one-day workshop (in English) "Defining Middle Eastern Gendered Identities" which was broadcast to an international audience via the internet under the auspices of the Truman Institute for Peace Research, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
June, 2003 organized International Conference on “Gendered Space in Middle Eastern Societies and Cultures” under the auspices of the Truman Institute for Peace Research, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
June 2006, organized 3 linked panels on “Gender and Religion: Muslim, Christian and Jewish Women Face Patriarchy”, The Second World Congress for Middle Eastern Studies, Amman, Jordan,
April, 2007, convened workshop on “Researchers' Narratives: Gender, Space and Multiple Identities in the Study of the Middle East”
May, 2008, convened one-day workshop (in English) on “Children, Youth and Gender: Forecasting the Future of the Middle East?”
