Lia Raikhlin

Lia Raikhlin was born in Russia (Moscow)
in 1981 and immigrated to Israel
in 1991. In
Israel
she studied with Prof. Lieberman and Prof. Yaroshevich
in the Rubin Music Academy of Tel-Aviv. A prize-winner in the Tel-Aviv Academy Chamber
Music Competition, she was also the recipient of scholarships on behalf of the
America-Israel Cultural Foundation. Lia played with
the Israel Camerata Orchestra of Jerusalem. Since 2005, she is a member of the
Tel-Aviv Soloists Ensemble and a second violinist in the Carmel Quartet, with
whom she participated in various international festivals, such as “Kol Ha-Musica” in Kfar Bloom and the Chamber Music Festival in Jerusalem. Lia also participated in master classes with members of the
La Salle
and Julliard Quartets.
