It's amazing that from anywhere and at anytime in Iceland one can see snow.

Our friends ask us whether it is worthwhile traveling in Iceland. Our opinion is reserved. On one hand the natural scenery in Iceland, especially the glaciers and the geothermal fields are unique in quality and quantity in the whole world. On the other hand the weather (see chapter 3), the sky-high prices (see chapter 2) and the a bit reserved people (why don't they give lifts for tourists ?, see also chapter 1) make it difficult for us to give a keen recommendation.
