2009 – Recipient of the Yad HaNadiv (The Rothchild foundation, the Humanities Fund in Israel), together with Profs. Aslanov (Hebrew University) and Hen (Ben Gurion University) a grant for running three summer courses in medieval Latin and paleography. Thus far, the first course has taken place in the summer of 2010, and will be repeated in the summer of 2013, with a third course envisioned eventually.
2011 – Recipient of the Polonsky prize in the humanities for The Modulated Scream.
