Research Interests

My research interest is in applied statistics, especially in problems related to medical and biological data. Currently my research focuses on problems arising in cross-sectional sampling and involves methods to deal with bias, censoring, truncation, etc. Another area that I am working on is prediction in longitudinal categorical data. The motivating example is prediction of progression of multiple sclerosis as defined by the Expanded Disability Status Scale.
