1944   Born in Jerusalem.

1967   B Sc.  Hebrew University. Mathematics and Physics.

1969   M Sc.  Hebrew University. Mathematics and computer science.

1968-1982    Married. Four children.

1980-1982    Hebrew University. Studying philosophy.

1988  Ph D.   Greek philosophy, under the supervision of Prof. S. Scolnicov.

Since 1987    Teaching history of ancient and medieval science in the Program for the History, Philosophy and Sociology of Science, the Hebrew University.

1994-5   Scholarship from the C.M. Edelstein center for the History and Philosophy of Science, Technology and Medicine, Jerusalem.

1999-2000    Scholarship from the Dibner Institute for the History of Science, at the MIT, Cambridge Mass.

2003   Associate Professor at the Hebrew University.

2003-2006   Head of the Program for the History and Philosophy of Science.
